ROCK BAND CLASSES!
PRIORITY REGISTRATION ENDS AUGUST 15th!

On the last round of student opinion polls, one of the top requests
from current students was that we offer performance/rock
band classes. The teachers have also been lobbying for me to
resume this for a long time. The classes are open to Academy students ages 10-18 who are able to play or sing a few songs on their instrument.

1. Classes will be held weekly, once a week for one hour.

See the schedule below for the available times.

2. The teachers involved in the classes can all: sing,
play the guitar, drums and bass.

If a student misses a class and is a vocalist, the teacher can pick
up the slack. The same goes for bass and drums.

3. I have purchased $3,000 worth of state of the art equipment for the program:

A Roland electronic drum kit, JamHub Rehearsal Studio
(This is an AMAZING product that will reduce the volume of your child’s band in your home!) Three guitar POD pedals and more.

4. We now have a new 800 square foot room for student rehearsals.

5. Four Open Houses each year.

Every May and December we will have four weeks of open houses where you, family and friends can attend the band classes. This program is a chance for your child to meet others, learn how to play with others, form a band on their own and take it to the top!

6. Tuition is $99.00 per month and classes start September 1.

You must have your primary teacher’s approval to participate. If your teacher says your child is not quite ready yet, you can apply again in 6 months. These classes are only available to currently enrolled Columbia Arts Academy students.

We will not open these classes up to future Academy students until August 15th! As a valued current Academy client this is your priority notice so that you can sign up before we spread the word about this new program. You get the first shot at time slots so be sure to sign up before August 15th!

Many teachers have sold out. If you need a schedule change or would like to be added to a waiting list for a particular teacher, day or time, please contact any of our office staff team and they can add you to the waiting list.

There are still limited lessons spots available.
